🌟 A Little About Our Adventures – and What Drives Us
We’re Johnny and Janet — a couple of curious souls with a shared love for wandering off the beaten path. Over the years, travel has become more than just holidays for us — it’s how we reconnect, reset, and remind ourselves what life’s all about.
Some of our favourite adventures haven’t been the far-flung, big-budget ones — they’ve been the quiet, unexpected moments:
A misty morning walk through a sleepy village…
A last-minute camping trip under the stars…
The joy of getting a bit lost and not really minding.
What drives us to explore the world is simple:

The joy of seeing each other light up in new places

We travel to feel free, to laugh more, to meet people, and to experience things that remind us we’re part of something much bigger. We love nature, old towns, local food, and a bit of peace — but mostly, we love being in it together.

👣 About Johnny B – Why I Travel
For me, travelling is about adventure — plain and simple.
It’s about stepping into the unknown, even if it’s just a different village or a road I’ve never taken before. I love the feeling of waking up somewhere new, not quite sure what the day will bring.
What really draws me in are the little things —
the smell of food I’ve never tried before,
the rhythm of a place that lives at a different pace,
the chance to meet people with stories completely different from mine.
I’m fascinated by new cultures — how people live, what they value, what they eat, and how they see the world. There’s always something to learn. And the food… well, I’ve never said no to trying something new, especially when it comes off a sizzling grill or out of a backstreet café.
I’m also never far from my camera. I love the hunt for that perfect shot — a misty mountain, a crooked alleyway, a splash of colour in a busy market. Travel sharpens your eyes to the beauty that’s all around, and I find myself chasing those moments wherever we go.
But the best part of it all — the bit that matters most — is sharing these experiences with Janet. There’s nothing quite like turning to the person next to you and seeing that same spark of wonder in their eyes. It’s the stories we come home with, the laughs we have along the way, and the memories we’re building together that make it all so worth it.
For me, travelling is about more than places — it’s about who I share them with.

💫 About Janet – My Love for Travel
Travel, for me, is about soaking it all in — the sights, the sounds, the stories.
I’ve always had a deep curiosity about the world and how other people live their lives. There’s something magical about arriving in a new place and slowly finding its rhythm — walking through local markets, chatting to strangers, or sitting quietly and watching the world go by.
I love discovering new cultures — the little customs, the kindness of people, the way food brings everyone together. I find joy in the details: how a town smells in the morning, the colour of the buildings, or the warmth of a local smile. It all reminds me how wonderfully diverse and beautiful the world really is.
I’m not always chasing the big landmarks — sometimes the most special moments are the ones you don’t plan. A tucked-away café, a walk down a quiet street, or a laugh shared over something lost in translation.
And then there’s the food — I’m always ready to try something new, especially if it comes with a story behind it. Whether it’s a handmade pastry from a tiny bakery or a dish we can’t quite pronounce, I love the flavours that come with travel.
But above all, what makes travelling truly special is sharing it with Johnny.
He brings the adventure, the energy, and of course — the camera. Together we’ve made so many memories, and each trip strengthens what we already have: a shared love of exploring the world, one moment at a time.
Travel fills my soul — and sharing it with him is the greatest joy of all.
